A wordless 2.5D co-op platformer in the spirit of Unravel Two. Fork, Knife and Butter are not tied together: they help each other by being what they are. Fork stabs into bread, sponges and soft Butter and climbs them, Knife cuts string and sticks into wood as a springy ledge, and Butter hardens in the cold, softens by the stove, melts into an oily puddle that pours through a grate, and floats across a sink with the other two riding on top.

The game opens in a dollhouse cut open from the front, and everyone playing at that moment is in the same house. You pick one character at the door and ride a brass cage lift between the floors. Each floor is one story: Butter's three chapters are for one player, Fork and Knife's for two, the top floor for all three. Stand on a portal with the right characters and the chapter starts for your group, each player on their own device.

Nine chapters cross the whole house: the fridge, the pantry and the living room piano, the cutlery drawer, a dining table with a serving spoon seesaw, a study with a falling ruler, then breakfast, the washing up and the dark kitchen at night. Everything that moves is a kinematic body in a 2D physics world, so online play only sends positions and a few flags. Try this first: enter as Butter, take Cold Start on the ground floor and let the fridge freeze you hard enough to shove a jar.
